About Us

Jennifer Terrell
Jennifer “Violiny Jenny” Terrell is a Louisville-based, multi-genre violinist who thrives at the intersection of classical training and modern performance. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, her love affair with the violin began after seeing an electrifying Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert as a kid, in a moment that lit the spark for a lifelong musical journey.
Before college, Jenny quickly made a name for herself, earning top honors by winning the Wichita Youth Symphony Orchestra Youth Talent Competition and the Delano Chamber Players Young Artist Award. She went on to study violin performance at the University of Oklahoma under Hal Grossman, where she immersed herself in masterclasses and festivals across the country, including Marrowstone Music Festival and Aria International Summer Academy. Highlights from this time include performing in a masterclass for Juilliard’s Naoko Tanaka.
In 2018, Jenny followed her path to Louisville, studying with Professor Brittany MacWilliams and completing both her Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and her Master’s degree in Violin Pedagogy at the University of Louisville.
It was in Louisville that Jenny truly found her musical home, branching boldly into contemporary, rock, pop, and alternative styles while bringing her classical roots along for the ride. She now performs regularly with Arianna & The Bourbon Britches, The Juice Box Heroes, In Lightning, and in backing bands for artists such as The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Weeklings, and Throwback Thursday Band. She is also the manager and lead violinist of Electria, providing high-energy live violin for weddings and private events.
When she’s not on stage, Jenny is passionate about teaching the next generation of musicians. She maintains a private violin studio at Kentuckiana Music Center in New Albany and Highlands Music Academy in Louisville, helping students build strong foundations while discovering their own unique musical voices.

Kelsey Lee

Kendra Villiger
Kendra is a Louisville-based singer-songwriter/guitarist/bassist and front-person of indie/alt/prog-rock band Villa Mure and the new bassist for The Bourbon Britches. Kendra joins The Bourbon Britches for larger shows and festivals! She has graced the stages of Seven Sense Festival, Moonshadow Festival, Enchanted Mayhem Music Festival, 91.9 WFPK Waterfront Wednesday, Jeffersonville Riverstage Concert Series, Red Barn Radio, New Albany Amphitheater, IndieFest, Brouhaha Indie Music Festival, Fuzzy Pig Festival, Huntington Music & Arts Festival, Huntington Ritter Live Amphitheater Sunday Concert Series, and more. Our favorite Kendra interview quote, "Success in music is sitting around a crackling fire with some longtime friends singing our favorite goofy songs we made together, laughing and enjoying time. Success is learning the language, being able to play with others, connecting, listening, reacting to each other without speaking. Music is not the “music business.” Creating music is one of the very few things with no wrong answer. It can be anything you want it to be because it is art. It is language, it is connection, it’s an unspoken bond between musicians, it is amorphous, it is limitless. Music is freedom.”
